Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Laboratory participates in a comprehensive, quality assurance program that continuously monitors ongoing and overall quality of all testing processes.
Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Laboratory is certified to perform testing under the Clinical Laboratories Improvement Amendments (CLIA), as well as accredited by The Joint Commission.
It is the intention of Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial to provide quality health care, competently, and compassionately to the residents of Newaygo County in the following disciplines:
- Chemistry, including general and special testing
- Drug Monitoring, including therapeutic and drugs of abuse
- Hematology, including an automated five-part WBC differential
- Coagulation
- Blood Banking
- Urinalysis
- Serology
- Microbiology
