The Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop (HAGS)

The "HAGS" Volunteer Guild was established over 50 years ago. It was started by a few lady volunteers who wanted to raise money for Gerber Memorial Hospital and provide a service to the community. It has grown from a newspaper cart, that was wheeled around from floor to floor, to the existing Gift and Coffee Shop located at the back side of the hospital. Over 65 volunteers call themselves the "HAGS" and help keep the shop's doors open. The proceeds from this non-profit organization are donated back to the hospital for various department "wishes."
